Vinca’s

Well, I did it again. I butchered my beautiful Vinca’s and cut them back to the size of a meatball! When I get my trimmers out I’m dangerous. They really needed to be cut back. They were starting to get very “leggy” and the stems were looking a little yellow. These Vinca’s are about 3 years old even though they are called annuals in the store. I’ve had great luck with them and they multiply well. My hope is that the stumps I left behind will continue to grow and produce again. I fertilized and watered after my cutting spree! Now that I’m writing a blog I wish I would have taken a photo of them before I cut them back. Here’s a couple photos of them now…

I have found that the white Vinca’s are very hardy.
